I live in this area and my family and I have I always shopped here spending $300-$500 every year for the last 35 years. Today I had a very bad experience as I just stopped by to pick up a couple of basket fillers. There were very few left of what I wanted and they looked really ‘sad’ and rather than go somewhere else, I asked the cashier who called the owner for a discount. After looking at the two sad plants and thinking about it, the owner finally said I could have a discount on one!!! I asked about the other, he said no!! On principle, I could not pay pay nearly $4 for each tiny pot, with one little stalk which was obviously just watered. The response I got from the owner was ‘do I look like I need the business’!!!! I’m pretty sure he doesn’t need the business but obviously he certainly doesn’t care about his customers. What happened to good manners and good customer service!! I wish I had taken a photo of the sad looking plants!!!
